There are several opportunities weekly to deepen and expand one’s life as a Christian.
Bible Study
Wednesday Morning:
We have a weekly Wednesday Morning Bible Study which begins at 10:30 a.m. This is an opportunity to intentionally read the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse making use of various commentaries and other scholarly resources in order to enhance our knowledge and reflection on the Bible.
Wednesday Evening:
During the Program Year (September through May), there is a weekly Wednesday Evening Bible Study which begins at 7:00 p.m. held at People of Hope, an Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mission, who are our partners in Rochester. This Bible Study is another opportunity to study as Christians from both the Episcopal Church and Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Growing in Faith Together (GIFT)
For those adults who have expressed an interest in exploring an intentional membership in the Episcopal Church who are coming from other Christian traditions or are seeking Baptism, we offer a program called Growing in Faith Together, also known as GIFT. This program meets on a weekly basis over a three month period. The day of the week may change depending on the participants.
Adult Forum
Adult Forum is held on Sunday mornings from 9:15 – 9:50 a.m. This is a time for parishioners to gather and discuss issues regarding faith, the church and our community.
