One of the best weeks in the summer happened on August 7th – 11th, 2011…Mega Sports Camp/Vacation Bible School…THE GREAT COMEBACK. Our sisters and brothers from Bethany United Methodist Church, Christway Full Gospel Church and Iglesia de Dios Immanuel joined us in this fun effort.
I am so grateful to everyone who helped out. This is an enormous effort and I want to thank those who took time to serve as a coach, assistant coach, rally leaders and concessions folks. First of all, thanks to Betsy Bornholdt, our Lay Ministry Coordinator for organizing the entire program. Our Coaches – Mark Bornholdt, Graham Sparks, Colin Maltbie, Andrew Botz, Jessica Botz, Stacey Bornholdt, Linda Arthur. Our Assistant Coaches – Gavin Sparks, Caleb Bemel, Ian Nsajja, Colin Jacobs, Jeff Martinak, Jena Garness, Cara Schmidt, Barbara Heins, Eric Pagnano. Our Assistant Rally Leader – Mike Harris. And our Concession Folk – Carmen Garness, Kitty Larson, and Wayne Larson. We are also indebted to Paster Wes, Pastor Larone and Pastor Santiago Pena for encouraging their young people to participate in this program of Faith Formation!
