Middle School

From special events to weekly gatherings, there are lots of opportunities for middle school kids and parents to get involved in at St. Luke’s!  Read on for some quick information about our programs…

Middle School Youth Night

Where some have youth groups, St. Luke’s has Middle School Youth Night.  More than just kids hanging out, every week we get together to learn a bit about our faith and to spend some time in a Christian community, getting to know one another and offering support and encouragement.  MSYN is a chance not only to start taking on your faith as your own, but it’s an opportunity to make friends who share that interest.  We meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Mission Trip

Each year a different city, but the same mission:  make a difference in the world through service.  We work with local organizations to help meet the basic needs of the city’s residents by serving in a variety of locations.  In addition to the life-changing work we do in service, we also spend some time playing and visiting the local attractions.  These mission trips are loads of fun – if you haven’t been on one, your missing out!

Lock-in

What goes together better than Middle School kids and cookies?  How about Middle School kids, cookies, games, movies, lots of fun, and a little bit of doing something good for somebody else?  Our annual lock-in includes an afternoon of cookie-baking & decorating to raise money (for a good cause, of course), bell-ringing for the Salvation Army, and lots of games, food and fun.  We cap it off with a late-night movie and maybe even a bit of sleep.
